Wakeboarding In Trinidad

Wake up to wakeboarding in Trinidad people!

Wakeboarding is just one of the many water sports available in Trinidad and Tobago (and I will attempt to cover as many of them as possible).
So you get strapped to a board, and hang on for dear life to the rope as you zip through the waters...that's the gist of it I suppose. Wakeboarding is an exhilarating sport that can be undertaken by pretty much anyone.

Wakeboarding is available in both Trinidad and Tobago. In Trinidad specifically, it is offered by the Kayak Centre Limited (+8686337871) among others. I also recommend Adventure Seekers (www.facebook.com/adventureseekerstt)

So people, don't just go to the beach for a "beach lime" any more (...I mean, go for the beach lime, don't miss it! But don't make it your only reason for hitting a beach). Who knows, once you get the hang of it, you may start practicing getting air and doing tricks :)

Brief advice: Always wear a life jacket. Ensure that you receive proper instruction before you attempt wakeboarding. As always, stay hydrated (even though you're in the water, you still need to put some in you ok)

See you on the surf! (No I won't, I'll be way ahead of you...you might see me though). Have fun and be safe people.

  1. I contacted the Kayak Centre at the number given above and a rude lady answered the phone and informed me that they only rent kayaks. When I asked about the wakeboarding she repeated... "We rent kayaks only"

  2. At the time that I wrote this, I was informed that wakeboarding was offered there. However, if you are still interested in wakeboarding, you should contact Adventure Seekers. I'm certain you'll be able to get through there.
